Hamilton manager Billy Reid praised his side following Flavio Paixao's dramatic late winner against St Mirren."We'll take it because I think we've deserved that in the past few weeks," Reid told BBC Scotland.
"The attitude of my players is never-say-die and we scored a goal in the last minute.
"We started exceptionally well and we were sensational in the opening 25 minutes. We kept going until the end and the result is hard on St Mirren."
The victory for Accies sees them move level on points with ninth-placed Kilmarnock and Reid said they would battle for every point until the end of the season.
"I'm happy with the group of players I've got; it's the strongest I've ever had and the bench is pretty good too," he said.
"We realise that we're Hamilton Accies and that every game is going to be difficult. In recent weeks we've played really well but not picked up the points we've deserved.
"Times are hard for everybody and attendances are down for every club."
